Killing roach is actually not that difficult. As long as you do it right, even home remedies can be great roach killer. Here are some natural roach killers that you can easily make and use.
Soap and Water
You don’t have to purchase expensive chemicals to kill the roach because a simple water and soap solution can be a great roach killer. To make this solution, simply mix a cup of water and one or two teaspoon of liquid soap inside a spray bottle. When you spot a roach, immediately spray it with the mixture. You also can spray the mixture on spots the roaches frequent and wait until the roach walks through it. But if you want to use the second trick, make sure to frequently spray the surface in case the mixture dries.
Not many people know about this but you can actually turn coffee into effective roach killer. Actually, coffee is not a deadly thing for roaches. However, since roaches really like coffee, you can set a very effective roach trap from coffee. To create the trap, simply prepare a jar and then put coffee there. Pour water into the jar and mix well with the coffee. When the roaches smell the aroma of the coffee, they will climb the jar and fell into the coffee. The roaches will get drown in the coffee and die after 30 or 40 minutes. To prevent the roach from climbing up the jar and escape the trap, apply petroleum jelly inside the jar.
Boric acid is a relatively safe chemical that is deemed as one of the most effective roach killers. Boric acid comes in powder form. So, simply sprinkle the powder in places the roaches often walk pass. You also can make it into paste. The chemicals will clog the roach’s pores and makes it hard to breathe. The roach will bring the powders into its nest as well so boric acid is effective to solve roach infestation problems.
Baking soda is also a very effective roach killer. To use baking soda to kill roaches, you need to mix it with sugar. Sugar cannot kill the roaches, but it will attract them to approach the baking soda. After that, simply sprinkle the mixture in areas the roaches frequent. If you afraid the mixture will be blown by the wind, you can turn the baking soda and sugar mixture into paste and then apply it in the areas where you often see the roaches.
